The New England Patriots have officially moved on from Jabrill Peppers.<\/p>\n

Peppers will soon do the same, but not before getting a few things off of his chest.<\/p>\n

Peppers decided to send a pointed message on social media just days after the relatively shocking decision was made to release him from his contract \u2014 bringing up some fairly decent points on X.<\/p>\n

\u201cGoing on 9 years in this league. I\u2019ve had (seven head coaches and six defensive coordinators) lol,\u201d Peppers said. \u201cThere is no scheme you can place me in where I won\u2019t find a way to be effective.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Patriots finished training camp with sixth-year veteran\u00a0Jaylinn Hawkins\u00a0and fourth-round pick\u00a0Craig Woodson\u00a0as their top safeties, with Peppers,\u00a0Kyle Dugger\u00a0and\u00a0Dell Pettus\u00a0rounding out the depth chart. New England evidently felt the depth at that position could be tapped into in order to open a roster spot, with the former first-round pick serving as the odd man out.<\/p>\n
