According to the shocking news, the Cowboys are trading away Parsons after four seasons with the team, since failing to come to terms on a new contract. It has been a drama soap opera for both sides, trying to find out the right deal that would work.<\/p>\n
However, it didn\u2019t end the way most fans were hoping, and many believe the Cowboys could be tanking, and if that\u2019s the case,\u00a0signal-caller Dak Prescott\u00a0could be on his way out if he doesn\u2019t do it himself.<\/p>\n
One source predicts a dark future for Prescott, as they expect the team may take a quarterback in a future draft with one of the newly acquired first-round picks.<\/p>\n
Arch Manning has been in several rumors connected to Dallas, where he could become the future of this offense that could lead them in a possible rebuild.<\/p>\n
After firing the former head coach, Mike McCarthy, earlier this offseason, and now trading arguably your best defensive player, could the Cowboys be tanking on purpose?<\/p>\n
This is likely the biggest storyline for Dallas in the 2025 campaign, and unfortunately, Prescott might get caught in the crossfire.<\/p>\n
He just signed a new long-term extension not too many years ago, but you know, anything can happen in this league.<\/p>\n
This won\u2019t stop him from requesting a trade if he feels like the Cowboys aren\u2019t willing to win anytime soon.<\/p>\n
Earlier this offseason, there were multiple rumors that\u00a0quarterback Matthew Stafford\u00a0would either depart or retire from the league as a whole.<\/p>\n However, the Rams are buying into what Stafford has left in the tank, but this might all change soon within the next two years.<\/p>\n After\u00a0trading out of the first round of this year\u2019s draft, it tells you that Sean McVay wants to garner as much draft capital to possibly build a new team. Typically, this means an aging Stafford might not be a fit anymore in this offense, especially since they\u2019ve been able to win a Super Bowl during the Aaron Donald era.<\/p>\n As for Jerry Jones, he has been very unpredictable, and after trading Parsons to their bitter rival, he could do the same with the Rams here. Prescott isn\u2019t getting any younger either, but he has at least five-six years at best to try to win a Lombardi trophy, whether it\u2019s with Dallas or not.<\/p>\n Quarterback Spencer Rattler\u00a0has been looking impressive in this year\u2019s preseason and training camp after beating out Tyler Shough for the starting job. While it looks fresh and new for the Saints, finally, after trading for wide receiver DeVaughn Vele and claiming untapped Trey Palmer off waivers, the team might be willing to rebuild. However, no one should put it past Kellen Moore to bring Prescott to New Orleans if the Cowboys are trying to trade him.<\/p>\n It looks like sunshine and rainbows for the Carolina Panthers and\u00a0Bryce Young. However, this wouldn\u2019t stop head coach Dave Canales from\u00a0benching him again\u00a0if he doesn\u2019t live up to the moment, even when having one of the most promising receivers out of their group, like Tetairoa McMillan.
