Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are set to become Hollywood\u2019s next big power couple, thanks to their engagement.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no denying the dynamic duo is already quite successful in their own right, but there\u2019s something about an entertainment industry wedding that changes everything. As a billionaire, Swift can already write her own ticket to any project, but it\u2019s Kelce who will likely benefit the most.<\/p>\n

With hints that this is his last season playing for the NFL, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is already taking Hollywood meetings, per Page Six.<\/em> \u201cTaylor makes him more powerful in Hollywood,\u201d a source shared. \u201cIt makes him more relevant \u2014 especially when putting him in a movie means that Taylor is walking your red carpet.\u201d<\/p>\n

The media outlet reported that Kelce \u201chas been exploring a number of things,\u201d including a possible acting gig with Curb Your Enthusiasm<\/em> executive producer Jeff Shaffer. The 35-year-old athlete is looking to transition into TV and film after his football career comes to an end.<\/p>\n

Kelce has already seen his star rise after he began dating Swift in August 2023. A year ago, he and brother Jason Kelce signed a lucrative three-year deal with Amazon\u2019s Wondery platform for their New Heights<\/em> podcast. Wondery CEO Jen Sargent didn\u2019t shy away from Swift\u2019s contributions to the podcast\u2019s popularity \u2014\u00a0it was all in the subtext. She described New Heights<\/em> to Variety <\/em>as \u201ca cultural phenomenon\u201d because the Kelce brothers are \u201cin that cultural zeitgeist.\u201d<\/p>\n

There are rumors that Swift might pull off the ultimate NFL story by performing at the Super Bowl halftime show in February 2026 \u2014\u00a0a bucket list career item she hasn\u2019t yet checked off her list. There hasn\u2019t been any official announcement yet, but NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is a big fan of her relationship with Kelce.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, it creates a buzz, it creates another group of young fans, particularly young women, who are interested in seeing why she is going to this game, why is she interested in this game,\u201d Goodell said at a Feb. 5, 2024, Super Bowl press conference. \u201cBesides Travis, she is a football fan, and I think that\u2019s great for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Swift and Kelce are making wedding plans behind the scenes, their management teams are probably plotting big business moves. Hollywood is looking for its next big power couple, and these two fit the bill.<\/p>\n
