Green Bay Packers Linked by 1 More NFL Analyst to Dallas Cowboys Star Micah Parsons<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The\u00a0Green Bay Packers\u00a0are hopeful that their 2025 defense will be the best the team has had in quite some time with the unit entering their second season under defensive coordinator\u00a0Jeff Hafley. Last year, for the first time in over two decades, the Packers deployed a 4-3 defensive front as opposed to a 3-4. This meant that many defensive players saw their roles shift away from what they were used to.<\/p>\n

Year two under Hafley is expected to see some players who struggled to adapt last season be more comfortable with their new niches, which fans hope result in a more consistent pass rush in particular.<\/p>\n

That being said, Packers fans have apparently grown weary of the process and were\/are hoping Green Bay would make a splash move to immediately improve that facet of the defense.<\/p>\n

On that note, the Packers have been rumored to be kicking the tires at one All-Pro player that could take the defense to the next level:\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0star\u00a0Micah Parsons.<\/p>\n

One of the biggest stories of the NFL offseason as a whole has been the on-going contract negotiations, or lack thereof, between Parsons and the Cowboys. Parsons, of course, has blamed Dallas owner Jerry Jones for refusing to allow the four-time Pro Bowler\u2019s agent to be a part of the talks, while the organization itself says that the agent refuses to negotiate with them.<\/p>\n

Whichever party is telling the truth, the result of the fallout has been Parsons demanding a trade away from the Cowboys. As the days go by, too, it seems more and more likely that a divorce between the two parties may actually happen.<\/p>\n

And if it does, ESPN\u2019s Jeremy Fowler believes that Green Bay would be one of the teams who could pull of a trade for him. He said on SportsCenter, \u201cIf they were to entertain a trade, there would be interest. Teams that make sense to me, at least, on the radar would be the Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, even some teams in Dallas\u2019 own division, but it looks like Dallas doesn\u2019t want to go that route.\u201d<\/p>\n

Obviously, there are other teams mentioned as potential landing spots, which should come as no surprise. Parsons is an exceptional linebacker that would make any team better, and the Cowboys are expected to be asking for a large haul of draft picks in return.<\/p>\n

The question, of course, is whether or not Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst would be willing to part with that much draft capital, or if Parsons and the Cowboys might eventually come to an understanding.<\/p>\n
