The Packers have high expectations for safety Javon Bullard.<\/p>\n

Bullard, chosen in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, finished his rookie season with 90 total tackles, and one fumble recovery while playing some of his most dominant football down the stretch.<\/p>\n

As the 2025 season approaches, defensive back Keisean Nixon has been impressed by what he\u2019s seen from Bullard so far this summer during training camp and the preseason.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Bull\u2019s taken a huge step this offseason,\u201d\u00a0Nixon said. \u201cNot only playing nickel but also playing safety, communicating better\u2026he\u2019s grown a lot.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Bullard\u2019s versatility is going to help him continue to be a vital piece of the Packers\u2019 defense, given that he has shown the ability to thrive alongside All-Pro safety Xavier McKinney and contribute as a slot cornerback.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love it. Now, I\u2019m embracing it,\u201d\u00a0Bullard said recently, via the team\u2019s official website. \u201cLast year, to be honest with you, maybe I felt like it was a negative. Now I\u2019m thinking of it like a positive.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t know where (number) 20 gonna line up.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

One thing seems certain; wherever Bullard is in the Packers\u2019 defense, big plays are likely to follow.<\/p>\n
