Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had mentally accepted defeat Sunday when the Broncos were lining up for a game-winning 35-yard field goal at Arrowhead Stadium. \u201cKareem (Hunt) was on the sidelines screaming, \u2018We\u2019re about to block this (kick),\u2019\u201d Kelce said on the latest New Heights podcast. \u201cI\u2019m just in my head, I\u2019m just like, \u2018It\u2019s only one loss, Travis. It\u2019s only one.\u2019\u201d Hunt was right, as Leo Chenal played hero with a block that preserved the Chiefs\u2019 16-14 victory.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t pretty, but the Chiefs did remain undefeated. And former Patriots coach Bill Belichick said the close loss could actually help the Chiefs this week as they prepare to face the Buffalo Bills. Former broadcaster Jim Gray said on the SiriusXM show \u201cLet\u2019s Go!\u201d the Chiefs aren\u2019t hitting on all cylinders and know they\u2019re not \u201cwinning right.\u201d<\/p>\n
