Taylor Swift is shutting down a fan theory.<\/p>\n

The singer, 35, put an end to rumors that she had a cameo as a bear in Happy Gilmore 2 while appearing on her boyfriend Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce\u2019s New Heights podcast on Aug. 13.<\/p>\n

Jason, 37, asked Swift if she could “confirm or deny” the speculation, to which she replied, “I can deny!”<\/p>\n

“This is one of those ones where, like, we’ll send it to each other and be like, ‘Hey, did you hear I was the bear in there?’ And he\u2019s like, ‘Yeah, did you hear we bought a house in Lake Como?’ At this point, we’re just like, of course they think I’m inside of a bear costume,” the popstar continued, referring to her conversations with Travis, 35.<\/em><\/p>\n

Swift said the rumor is flattering because she is a fan of the movie, which features the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. “I’m honored to be thought of in that context because I loved that movie so much. I watched it multiple times. I loved it so much,” she explained.<\/p>\n

“Whoever did the bear acting was exquisite,” the “Karma” singer added.<\/p>\n

The aforementioned bear scene involves a daydream sequence in which Travis’ waiter character is tied to a metal post and covered in honey. The character is then approached by a bear, who attacks him.<\/p>\n

Swift promoted the hotly anticipated Netflix sequel upon its July 25 release. The movie, which is a follow-up to 1996’s Happy Gilmore<\/em>, sees the return of Adam Sandler as the titular golfer.<\/p>\n

“Happy Gilmore 2 had me cackling and cheering the whole movie. An absolute must-watch,” the singer wrote in an Instagram Stories post, alongside an image of the film’s movie poster. “13\/10, go watch it on @netflix as soon as humanly possible \ud83c\udf6f.”<\/p>\n

To the delight of fans, Swift revealed the title of her upcoming 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl<\/em>, in a clip shared on the podcast\u2019s Instagram account the day before the episode dropped.<\/p>\n

“Can I show you something?” she said in the video.<\/p>\n

Jason replied, “Okay. What do we got? We got a briefcase? Mint green with T.S. on it.” The singer then confirmed the retired Philadelphia Eagles star’s observations with a simple, “Yup.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
