The top team that\u2019s been connected to Adames has been the Los Angeles Dodgers.<\/p>\n

The Dodgers need a shortstop, and they have the money to bring him in.<\/p>\n

Adames would be the perfect addition to Los Angeles\u2019 lineup, but more big-market teams are being linked to him.<\/p>\n

In fact, the Dodgers could lose out on Adames to one of their National League West rivals.<\/p>\n

Bleacher Report\u2019s Tim Kelly recently predicted that Adames would sign with the San Francisco Giants instead of the Dodgers, projecting a seven-year, $180 million contract for the star shortstop.<\/p>\n

\u201cBuster Posey-the new president of baseball operations in San Francisco-said at the GM meetings in San Antonio last week that he wants to figure out the shortstop position,\u201d Kelly wrote.<\/p>\n

Nobody knows how aggressive the Giants will be, though Posey has spoken to their eagerness to upgrade.<\/p>\n

Given the fact that Posey had a lot of success as a player, it\u2019s easy to assume that he\u2019s eager to bring that same success back to San Francisco.<\/p>\n
