Ava Hunt, the 18-year-old daughter of Kansas City\u00a0Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, is currently living her best life as a cheerleader at SMU.<\/p>\n

Hunt enrolled at SMU earlier this year. Back in August, she went viral on social media for\u00a0sharing a sneak peek at her lavish dorm room<\/a>. Fast forward to November, and she’s trending on Instagram because of her latest post.\u00a0On Monday night, she shared a few photos from SMU’s 48-25 victory over Pitt.<\/p>\n

SMU looked dominant on offense thanks to quarterback Kevin Jennings. He completed 17-of-25 pass attempts for 306 yards with two touchdowns. Running back Brashard Smith also had a productive outing, rushing for 161 yards and two touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Suffice to say, SMU’s football team gave the cheerleaders and the fans at\u00a0Gerald J. Ford Stadium something to cheer about.<\/p>\n

“Homecoming on the Hilltop,”\u00a0Hunt wrote for her Instagram caption.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

We’re certainly glad to see Hunt doing well. Just a few months ago, she\u00a0needed emergency surgery after falling down a mountain while hiking. It was reported that she\u00a0suffered a few lower-body injuries.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis little thang fell down the mountain today on a hike & went to the ER for surgery on a deep wound,” Mrs. Hunt wrote. “It\u2019s been a looong day. Praise God she\u2019s in recovery and already smiling. Please pray for a quick and complete recovery.”<\/p>\n

Thankfully, it didn’t take long for Ava to get back on her feet.<\/p>\n

SMU will return to action on Nov. 16 for a showdown with Boston College. That means Hunt has a little over a week off to enjoy herself.<\/p>\n

The Mustangs are currently 5-0 in the ACC and 8-1 overall this season.<\/p>\n
