Green Bay Packers\u2019 wide receiver corps and that competition between each player is\u00a0among the biggest headlines\u00a0for them heading into the new season. That battle will become fierce once Christian Watson is back in the line up.<\/p>\n

The WR room currently has Jayden Reed, their best player stat-wise), 23rd pick Matthew Golden, another rookie Savion Williams, Romeo Doubs, new acquisition and two-time Super Bowl winner Mecole Hardman Jr., Dontavion Wicks, and Malik Heath.<\/p>\n

Their strength is yet to be determined with Watson still out of the team\u00a0after undergoing surgery\u00a0for his torn ankle before the postseason.<\/p>\n

He has\u00a0been showing great signs of progress\u00a0through public appearances, leaving speculations that he might return earlier than expected. Previous reports said he could only be back by November.<\/p>\n

Christian Watson is not rushing anything<\/h2>\n

Watson is not rushing anything though. He is take extra precaution and leaving it his health staff. The good takeaway is that he is\u00a0leveling up his football activities
\n\u201cI\u2019ve been doing cutting stuff already, some route stuff already,\u201d Watson said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m letting the training staff and the strength staff tell me what I got that day. I\u2019m trying not to look too far ahead because then I\u2019m going to want to push for more and more, just how my mind works.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

He\u00a0previously gave a hint\u00a0on how many games he could play this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope it\u2019s all of them, but I\u2019ve got to take it as it is. Whether it\u2019s 15 games or five games, I feel like as long as I\u2019m able to go out there and just prove that I am what I was before the injury and be me, that the rest is going to take care of itself,\u201d he said last week as he talked about his mindset coming off an injury.<\/em><\/p>\n
