Manager Aaron Boone told reporters he views Rosario as an option at second base, third base and the corner outfield spots. He’d only slot him at shortstop “in a pinch.”<\/p>\n
Rosario came through the minor leagues as a shortstop, but he’s gotten more time at all those other spots of late.<\/p>\n

He’s batting .299 against southpaws this season, and it’s a skill he’s always had as an MLB player.<\/p>\n Rosario should, then, pair nicely with third baseman Ryan McMahon and second baseman Jazz Chisholm, who are both lefty hitters.
