It\u2019s always fun to see what local broadcasters get up to on their travels to different cities. Take, for instance, what John Schiffren of the Chicago White Sox got up to during a road trip to Toronto.<\/p>\n

In response to an on-air dare, he completed the CN Tower\u2019s famous EdgeWalk, which involves leaning out (while strapped to ropes) over the building 116 stories above ground. Schiffren revealed his accomplishment, complete with camera footage, on the Chicago Sports Network pregame show Sunday ahead of the White Sox\u2019s clash with the Blue Jays:<\/p>\n

Those are some pretty remarkable images from Schiffren\u2019s time doing this. And while he may have only done this on a dare, it sounds like he enjoyed the experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is one of the scariest, yet the coolest experiences, I have ever had in my life. \u2026It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. \u2026It is a must-do. It will empower you; you\u2019ll think you\u2019re crazy, but then all of a sudden, you\u2019ll realize, \u2018What else can I challenge myself to?’\u201d<\/p>\n

Analyst Gordon Beckham doesn\u2019t seem as sold on the idea, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s a no for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

This walk certainly doesn\u2019t look like everyone\u2019s cup of tea. But it did make for some remarkable pregame footage and photos for Schiffren.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
