    Jerry Jones\u2019 daughter, Charlotte Jones, has followed closely in his footsteps to become one of the most powerful women in the NFL.<\/p>\n

    Charlotte was born to the Dallas Cowboys owner and his wife, Eugenia “Gene” Jones, in 1966. When she was 3, they moved from Missouri to Little Rock, Ark., where she lived until she headed off to college. Later on, her dad decided to purchase the NFL team in 1989 and Charlotte almost immediately began working with him for the organization.<\/p>\n

    Although football was always a passion for the family, managing a professional team was a new challenge, and one that Charlotte was initially hesitant to take on. Still, Jones was adamant that she was up to the task and insisted that she join the team.<\/p>\n

    \u201cEvery step of the way, he was always my biggest cheerleader,\u201d Charlotte told NBC Dallas in 2018 about her father. Describing him as \u201cpassionate, supportive and loving,\u201d she explained that despite her lack of knowledge or experience in professional football, her dad wanted to put her in charge. \u201cI have always said that he has had more confidence in me than I’ve ever had in myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Since then, Charlotte has become an integral part of the entire Dallas Cowboys organization. Aside from being a co-owner of the team, she is the executive vice president and chief brand officer. In many ways, she\u2019s the reason that the Cowboys are where they are today. But that\u2019s not the reason she loves her job so much.<\/p>\n

    \u201cI think the greatest part about our business is that it’s a family business,\u201d she told Today<\/em> (via The Dallas Morning News) in 2016. \u201cThe most important thing is family.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Charlotte may be her father\u2019s only daughter, but she\u2019s not an only child. She also has two brothers.<\/p>\n

    Her older brother, Stephen, was born in 1964 and currently serves as the chief operating officer for the Cowboys. The youngest child, Jerry Jr., was born in 1969 and is the chief sales and marketing officer for the team.<\/p>\n

    Based on how they were raised, it\u2019s not surprising that the three siblings have opted to work together. \u201cMy mom and dad stressed the importance of family,\u201d Charlotte told The Dallas Morning News <\/em>in 2017. \u201cIt was family first. At dance recitals and school events, my parents were always there.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Being the only girl, Charlotte had to be tough growing up, and a big part of that, she says, is how she was raised.<\/p>\n

    “There were two boys, myself, and my dad and my mom at the table,\u201d she told NBC Dallas in 2018. \u201cMy dad always treated me the same way with the same level of expectation and hope as he did my brothers.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Following high school, Charlotte moved to California where she attended Stanford University. She graduated in 1988 with a degree in human biology with an emphasis in organizational management.<\/p>\n

    The idea of one day being a top executive in the NFL world wasn\u2019t one she could even fathom at the time. In fact, she was interested in pursuing a career in politics.<\/p>\n

    After graduating from Stanford, she moved to Washington D.C. and began working for Tommy Robinson, a Republican congressman, per the Deseret News.<\/p>\n

    \u201cWashington\u2019s the place you go to make a difference,\u201d she told Refinery29 in 2018. \u201cThe last thing on my mind was wanting to be part of the family business.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Charlotte eventually joined the Dallas Cowboys in 1990, just one year after her father purchased the team.<\/p>\n

    \u201cFootball is the fabric of our family. Growing up with two brothers and a father who loved and played football, my passion for the game began at an early age,\u201d she told Little Rock Soiree in 2017. \u201cFootball is who we are.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Still, appreciating the game isn\u2019t the same as being in charge of a team. Because of that, when Jones asked her to join him at the company, she was reluctant.<\/p>\n

    \u201cI told him I didn\u2019t know anything about running a professional sports franchise, and he looked at me dead serious and said, \u2018Neither do I. I just need someone around me that I can trust. Someone that I know won\u2019t be afraid of a challenge, and who will get in here and fail and get up and go again,\u2019 \u201d she told PaperCity Magazine <\/em>in 2021.<\/p>\n

    With that, she agreed and has been working with him and the Cowboys ever since. She is a co-owner of the team, along with her brothers. She\u2019s also the executive vice president and chief brand officer, meaning she\u2019s responsible for brand marketing and entertainment.<\/p>\n

    One of the biggest contributions Charlotte has offered is her creation of the Cowboys\u2019 Thanksgiving halftime show in 1996.<\/p>\n

    While the famed annual show has now become a mainstay in the NFL, at the time it had never been done before other than during the Super Bowl. Aside from the entertainment value, the halftime show is a charitable event as well. Charlotte partnered with the Salvation Army for the project and it is now known as the Red Kettle Kickoff.<\/p>\n

    \u201cWe recognized that we could partner with an organization that was truly making a difference in the lives of those who needed the most help and magnify their impact,\u201d she told Little Rock Soiree, <\/em>adding that the collaboration has helped raise over $2 billion dollars since its inception. \u201cIt\u2019s the most important thing we do at the Dallas Cowboys.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Charlotte and her first husband, David \u201cShy\u201d Anderson, married in 1991 and share three children. They welcomed their daughter, Haley, in 1993, followed by two sons, Shy Jr. and Paxton.<\/p>\n

    Today, it appears that all three are following in the family business.<\/p>\n

    According to their LinkedIn profiles, Haley is the special project manager for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, while Shy Jr. works as a scout for the Cowboys.<\/p>\n

    In 2024, Paxton graduated from The University of Texas at Austin where he played football all four years as a wide receiver. Following his graduation, he shared an Instagram post about attending the Cowboys\u2019 training camp. Most recently, Paxton shared photos of himself working alongside his grandfather and mom.<\/p>\n

    Charlotte and Anderson divorced in 2019 and she married her husband, Amir Rozwadowski, in August 2024. Less than a year later, she celebrated another major milestone with the birth of her first grandchild.<\/p>\n

    In March of 2025, Charlotte became a grandmother for the first time when her son, Shy Jr., and his wife, Tori Evans Anderson, welcomed a baby girl, Parker Eloise Eugenia.<\/p>\n

    She shared the news on Instagram with a sweet post. \u201cBlessed beyond measure !!! Welcome to the world beautiful Parker!!\u201d she captioned a video and several photos.<\/p>\n

    In April, she posted more pictures on Instagram of her celebrating Easter with her family, including her new granddaughter.<\/p>\n
