It\u2019s a safe bet there aren\u2019t many Dallas Cowboys with this in their bag…<\/p>\n

Cowboys DT Solomon Thomas, who stands at 6-3, 295 pounds, has eight seasons of NFL experience under his belt and has logged over 200 tackles across his career, also has a knack for musicals. Didn\u2019t see that coming.<\/p>\n

Thomas made a one-night-only cameo appearance in Broadway\u2019s \u201cMJ The Musical\u201d on Friday at the Neil Simon Theatre in New York City. The musical details the life of late pop king Michael Jackson.<\/p>\n

Thomas, who signed with the Cowboys on a two-year deal in March, is a former member of the New York Jets. According to a report by Playbill.com, Thomas was a big Broadway supporter during his time in New York and in particular was a fan of \u201cMJ The Musical,\u201d which he apparently saw six times. He even brought a group of Jets teammates to a showing, which was a featured segment on the Jets\u2019 season of HBO\u2019s Hard Knocks.<\/p>\n

\u201cI cannot think of a better way to celebrate my time in New York than by making my Broadway debut!\u201d Thomas said in a statement to Playbill. \u201cI am so grateful to \u201dMJ” <\/i>for making this dream come true and for the support over the past few years. It\u2019s truly an honor to be able to witness the greatness of these performers.”<\/p>\n

Thomas has a reputation as a bit of an NFL Renaissance man. Aside from being a three-time Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee, Thomas is also an animal lover and a surfer who lived in Australia for five years. He\u2019s a devoted mental health advocate, as well.<\/p>\n

He also bears a bit of a resemblance to Dak Prescott. So if the 2025 Cowboys win the Super Bowl and there is to be a Broadway musical about their heroic quarterback, it might already have its leading man.<\/p>\n
