Last week, the NFL finally announced the schedule for all 32 teams across the league, letting the franchises themselves and their fans know when their specific matchups will be taking place with the opponents they already knew they’d be taking on.<\/p>\n
The San Francisco 49ers are expected to have the easiest schedule in football, according to Warren Sharp, who recently used current Las Vegas betting odds to rank the difficulty of every team’s schedule in 2025.<\/p>\n

While San Francisco has some interesting matchups this year, including five that will be in primetime, one has caught the attention of cornerback Deommodore Lenoir.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat Thursday night Rams game. That\u2019s the one for me,\u201d Lenoir\u00a0told NBC Sports Bay Area’s Laura Britt earlier this week. \u00a0“Really, it\u2019s a division game. They\u2019re like rivals, and they talk a lot. I feel like just for last year we owe them double.\u201d<\/p>\n
Los Angeles has beaten San Francisco thrice in a row, outscoring Kyle Shanahan’s team 60-50 in these meetings. The 49ers’ last win against the Rams came in Week 2 of the 2023 season when Christian McCaffrey’s 116 and one touchdown led them to a 30-23 victory.<\/p>\n
The recent string of losses in this series has the Rams feeling confident, and Lenoir has heard the noise.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do [notice the trash talk],\u201d Lenoir said. \u201cIt kind of fueled me during the week. I kind of let my [defensive back] room know what\u2019s going on and how they feel about us and what we\u2019re up against.\u201d<\/p>\n
That Thursday night matchup against the Rams this year will be San Francisco’s first big test, and with the Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals and Jacksonville Jaguars on the schedule for the first four games, there’s a real chance that the 49ers are 4-0 heading into the Week 5 bout.<\/p>\n
There will certainly be a lot of talk heading into that game if that’s the case.<\/p>\n
