Gigi Hadid\u2019s sister Marielle Hadid<\/strong> wants (at least partial) credit for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce\u2019s romance.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne day, I get this text from Marielle. This is [at a time when] everybody was trying to get a ticket [to her Eras Tour <\/i>concerts]. I said, \u2018I think I\u2019m going to the L.A. one,\u2019\u201d Amy Bean<\/strong> said on the Wednesday, May 22, episode of her and Parvati Shallow<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cNice Girls Don\u2019t Win\u201d podcast. \u201cShe said, \u2018I\u2019m going to Taylor with Taylor.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Marielle, 44, chimed in, adding that she was invited by Gigi, 30, to attend Swift\u2019s spring 2023 concert in Santa Clara, California.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hopped on Taylor\u2019s airplane, which was very cool,\u201d Marielle recalled on Wednesday\u2019s episode. \u201cHer giant dress was on the airplane [and] we got to see her get ready, but the coolest part was [when] we landed in San Francisco, they shut the whole freeway down. There wasn\u2019t a car on the freeway.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before the show, Gigi and Marielle even spent time backstage with Swift, 35, and did a tarot reading.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did pull a card for her because, well, I had seen something where her [current] boyfriend, [Kelce], had said that he wanted to date her,\u201d Marielle said. \u201cI told Gigi that they should date. \u2026 I was like, \u2018Come on, even if it\u2019s just for fun.\u2019 This is before they had actually or officially met.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s love story with Kelce, 35, began in July 2023 when he praised her Eras Tour <\/i>stop in Kansas City, calling her out for \u201cnot wanting to meet\u201d \u2014 and exchange numbers \u2014 after the show. (Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end publicly debuted their romance in September 2023 when she went to one of his home NFL games.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI pulled this card for her, and I don\u2019t exactly remember which deck it was, but I remember that it was in regards to this and the word \u2018swiftly\u2019 was in the reading,\u201d Marielle recalled. \u201cShe said she never had a tarot card reading, which I thought was interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bean then asked if Marielle had told Swift that Kelce would \u201cbe a good lay.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI did,\u201d Marielle quipped. \u201cI was like, \u2018Come on.\u2019 \u2026 She deserves it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift previously told TIME <\/i>that she and Kelce started \u201changing out right after\u201d his podcast shout-out. (Swift was newly single at the time, ending her fling with Matty Healy<\/strong> in May 2023, less than one year after calling it quits with long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cWe actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I\u2019m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple,\u201d Swift said in a December 2023 profile, making her first public comments about Kelce. \u201cI think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift continued, \u201cWhen you say a relationship is public, that means I\u2019m going to see him do what he loves, we\u2019re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don\u2019t care,\u201d she says. \u201cThe opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you\u2019re seeing someone. And we\u2019re just proud of each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift and Kelce have since proved to go the distance, frequently showing up to support one another\u2019s biggest professional milestones. While the Grammy winner has attended many of Kelce\u2019s games \u2014 including back-to-back Super Bowl appearances \u2014 he has returned the favor at her Eras <\/i>shows. In December 2024, Kelce also organized an \u201cEnd of an Era\u201d bash to close out her touring achievement.<\/p>\n

Since then, Swift and Kelce have been enjoying their respective hiatuses out of the spotlight.<\/p>\n

\u201cTaylor and Travis are doing great, and they\u2019re still very much together and in love,\u201d a source exclusively told Us Weekly in a cover story last month. \u201cThey\u2019re just taking a break from the public eye.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
