Franklin Arias, who\u2019s ranked No. 68 on Baseball America\u2019s Top 100 list, had one of High-A Greenville\u2019s three hits in a 6-0 loss to Rome on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old shortstop is 15-for-35 (.429) in his past eight games for the Drive.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s batting .339 with a .406 on-base percentage, .444 slugging percentage, .850 OPS, two home runs, seven doubles, 16 RBIs, 20 runs, 12 walks, 17 strikeouts and five steals in 30 games (138 plate appearances) between Low-A Salem and High-A Greenville.<\/p>\n

He has a .326\/.404\/.522\/.926 line with two home runs, three doubles, seven RBIs, five runs, six walks and five strikeouts in 11 games (52 plate appearances) since his promotion to Greenville.<\/p>\n

~<\/b> Roman Anthony, Baseball America\u2019s No. 1 overall prospect, reached base three times Sunday. He went 2-for-3 with two singles and one walk in Worcester\u2019s 6-0 loss to Lehigh Valley. The 20-year-old is batting .302 with a .423 on-base percentage, .476 slugging percentage, .899 OPS, five homers, five doubles, one triple, 25 runs, 17 RBIs, 28 walks and 33 strikeouts in 35 games (156 plate appearances).<\/p>\n

~<\/b> Marcelo Mayer entered Sunday with a 22-game on-base streak. But he went 0-for-4 with a strikeout vs. Lehigh Valley. The 22-year-old has a .269\/.333\/.478\/.811 line with seven homers, five doubles, one triple, 35 RBIs, 22 runs, 13 walks and 29 strikeouts in 34 games (150 plate appearances).<\/p>\n

~<\/b> Vaughn Grissom went 2-for-4 with a double in Worcester\u2019s loss. He has a .260\/.338\/.397\/.735 line with three homers, nine doubles, 15 RBIs, 25 runs, 12 walks and 29 strikeouts in 34 games (148 plate appearances).<\/p>\n

~<\/b> Jhostynxon Garcia stroked a walkoff two-run single in the 10th inning to lead Double-A Portland to a 6-5 win over Chesapeake. It came after Chesapeake went ahead 5-4 in the top of the 10th. The 22-year-old has a .286\/.395\/.418\/.813 line with two homers, five doubles, one triple, 15 RBIs, 18 runs, 18 walks and 23 strikeouts in 28 games (119 plate appearances).<\/p>\n

~<\/b> David Sandlin, who Baseball America ranks Boston\u2019s No. 7 prospect, started for Portland and recorded nine strikeouts and 20 swings and misses in 5 innings against Chesapeake. He gave up three runs, five hits and no walks. The 24-year-old righty has a 4.78 ERA (26 \u2153 innings, 14 earned runs) in six starts. His 20 swings and misses were the most by a Double-A pitcher Sunday.<\/p>\n

~<\/b> Connelly Early, a 23-year-old lefty, also pitched 5 innings in Portland\u2019s 10-inning win. He allowed two runs, one earned run, three hits and two walks while striking out eight. He has a 2.41 ERA (18 \u2154 innings, five earned runs), 30 strikeouts and nine walks in five outings (two starts). Baseball America ranks him Boston\u2019s No. 10 prospect. Opponents are batting .156 against him.<\/p>\n

~<\/b> Shea Sprague, a Mass. native and Red Sox 2024 13th round pick out of UNC, allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out six over 4 \u2154 innings in Low-A Salem\u2019s 4-3 loss to Fayetteville. The B.C. High grad was tied for the Low-A lead with 14 swings and misses Sunday.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old lefty has allowed just two runs, 10 hits and one walk while striking out 20 in his past 15 innings over three outings.<\/p>\n
