With\u00a0Patrick Mahomes\u00a0running for his life, the Chiefs were curb-stomped and now, the aura of the franchise might be starting to disappear.<\/p>\n
When it comes to Mahomes, he is still largely considered to be the\u00a0best quarterback\u00a0in football, but in a similar vein to his team, the Super Bowl loss, for some reason, has some questioning No. 15.<\/p>\n

There’s no denying No. 15 is still the most trustworthy signal-caller in the game, but he’s now proven vulnerable twice on the big stage.”<\/p>\n
Above Patrick are\u00a0Josh Allen\u00a0(5),\u00a0Lamar Jackson\u00a0(4),\u00a0Joe Burrow\u00a0(3),\u00a0Jalen Hurts\u00a0(2), and Jayden Daniels (1).<\/p>\n
Looking at that group, is is considered to be the best of the best, and after a year that saw Mahomes win more regular season games than any, and make the Super Bowl after beating Allen, before losing to Hurts, even with the 2025 outlook for the Chiefs, Mahomes likely deserves to be higher.<\/p>\n
Now, what one of the\u00a0best quarterbacks\u00a0in football didn’t need from a league-wide perspective was a chip on his shoulder to prove everyone wrong.<\/p>\n
