<\/p>\nThe Dallas Cowboys have seven selections remaining going into day three of the NFL Draft, as they look to add depth to positions of need with the incoming college talent pool.<\/p>\n
In the first three rounds, the Cowboys selected Alabama offensive guard Tyler Booker, Boston College defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku and East Carolina cornerback Shavon Revel Jr.<\/p>\n

Here are the seven remaining picks going into day three, barring any trades: Round 5: No. 149 Round 5: No. 174 (compensatory pick) Round 6: No. 204 (from Lions) Round 6: No. 211 (compensatory pick) Round 7: No. 217 (from Titans) Round 7: No. 239 (from Packers) Round 7: No. 247 (from Chiefs) With pressing needs at running back, wide receiver, cornerback and defensive tackle along with some depth need at other spots, here are ten names that could make sense for the Cowboys when they begin their run of selections.<\/p>\n
Auburn running back Jarquez Hunter Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II Tennessee wide receiver Dont\u2019e Thornton Jr. Rutgers offensive tackle Hollin Pierce Georgia defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse Ohio State cornerback Jordan Hancock Louisville cornerback Quincy Riley Georgia linebacker Smael Mondon Jr.<\/p>\n
Maryland defensive tackle Jordan Phillips Oregon wide receiver Traeshon Holden Along with the selections available, the front office led by owner and general manager Jerry Jones and executive vice president Stephen Jones have hinted at the possibility of a trade to help address one of the pressing needs.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the potential of finding a second wide receiver option, Stephen Jones furthered that commentary. \u201cIf we don\u2019t come away in this draft with an obvious No. 2, then we\u2019ll continue to see if there\u2019s a better situation out there,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut at the same time, we do think we have tremendous upside in the current core [on the roster] to take the next step.\u201d In the running game, the running back class in the draft is something that vice president of player personnel Will McClay has confidence in going into day two.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIt is a deep draft of running backs,\u201d McClay said. \u201cWe feel comfortable where the depth is and what we added with that.<\/p>\n Running backs in the NFL come from every round.
