Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons offered a passionate reaction to rumors about Shannon Sharpe\u2019s new media contract for those who believe he should stop his podcast.
\nMicah Parsons\u2019 involvement in the media \u2013 whether that be his social media trolling or his in-season podcast \u2013 is no surprise for any Dallas Cowboys or NFL fans.<\/p>\n
The star defensive end is one of many active athletes who have gotten involved in media during their playing career. Others across sports include Jason and Travis Kelce, LeBron James, Paul George and Draymond Green to name a few.<\/p>\n
Shannon Sharpe, the Hall of Fame tight end who has found a home on ESPN alongside Stephen A. Smith, is in the game too.<\/p>\n
He is the host of the Club Shay Shay podcast, which is rumored to be in line for a massive media contract because of the show\u2019s success.<\/p>\n
According to Front Office Sports, Sharpe is expected to sign a new deal worth up to $100 million once his current contract with Colin Cowherd\u2019s The Volume network expires.<\/p>\n
Parsons \u2013 as he typically does \u2013 jumped to social media to offer a reaction and nudge to his critics who say he should focus on his work on the field.<\/p>\n
Whether its gripes about him posting so much or complaints about his podcast being active during the regular season \u2026 Micah has heard it all.<\/p>\n
But he\u2019s also explaining why he won\u2019t stop.<\/p>\n
