Well the Braves\u2019 injured ace returned to action Wednesday and looked roughly like himself, but the offense had an abysmal outing again and spoiled Strider\u2019s return. Matt Olson sounded pretty frustrated after the game and you can\u2019t blame him. Olson in particular has been victim to some absolutely brutal BABIP luck early this season, but the offense has more generally underperformed to a large extent as compared to their talent and expectations. This is a continuation of a perplexing trend since last season with the offense featuring most of the same players who made up arguably the greatest offense in baseball history in 2023. Atlanta really needs all of their undeniably talented hitters to click and get some average luck.<\/p>\n
