After what felt like an onslaught of bad news in Atlanta, the Braves are on a run of good news, with the latest surrounding Ronald Acuna Jr.<\/p>\n

The superstar outfielder visited Los Angeles to see doctors in hopes of being cleared to further his quick movement activities. According to Justin Toscano, that did indeed happen today, though no timetable for Acuna\u2019s return has been provided.<\/p>\n

Ronald Acu\u00f1a Jr. was cleared to ramp up activity and begin progressing toward a rehab assignment. No timetable, but seems like he\u2019s on schedule to return at some point in the next month, as we\u2019d originally thought.<\/p>\n

First, Sean Murphy returned to Atlanta, and the All-Star catcher has immediately provided a boost to a struggling lineup. Then, it was announced that Spencer Strider will make his 2025 Braves debut on Wednesday in Toronto against the Blue Jays, with Alex Verdugo likely making his sometime this weekend when the club returns to Truist Park.<\/p>\n

Now, it\u2019s Ronald Acuna\u2019s turn. The original timetable was sometime in May, and it seems like he\u2019s on track to do just that. Getting a healthy Strider and Acuna back in Atlanta cannot be overstated. If the pair just provides a percentage of what they\u2019re capable of, it\u2019s an upgrade over what the Braves currently have in the outfield and rotation.<\/p>\n

However, if Acuna and Strider return to form, the Braves will once again garner World Series recognition. I imagine the Braves will take things slowly with the Venezuelan superstar, but I know he\u2019s chomping at the bit to get back on the field. La Bestia is almost back!<\/p>\n
