Atlanta’s social media team certainly talked the talk after a stellar performance from the Falcons Sunday afternoon.<\/h2>\n

The Atlanta Falcons’ social media team basked in the national attention generated by taking down America’s team Sunday evening, penning a series of inflammatory posts of X targeted at the Dallas Cowboys and their fanbase.<\/p>\n

After recovering a decisive on-side kick, the team’s Twitter account tweeted out “America’s Team,” the first letter of which was replaced with a red emoji “A” to represent Atlanta, and a link to a recap of the 27-21 victory from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Minutes later, the Falcons posted a video of noted Cowboys fan Post Malone dancing with an Atlanta logo overlayed on the American rapper and an image of the final score added to the bottom of the video.<\/p>\n

The Falcons saved their best, or at least most viral, celebratory barb for last, posting a picture of a downtrodden New York Yankees fan with the caption, “Tough week to be a Yankees fan.” The post references the bandwagon reputation of both Yankees and Cowboys fans \u2014 the Bronx Bombers suffered a five-game defeat in the 2024 World Series earlier this week \u2014 attracting 113,000 likes and over 4.1 million total impressions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
