Easily the biggest situation the team has to deal with right now is Micah Parsons’ contract, and he offered an interesting one-word response when asked about the ongoing negotiations.<\/p>\n

After watching Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb sign extensions of their own last offseason, Parsons sat back and waited for his own big deal to come.<\/p>\n

When asked if he was upset about his contract situation, Parsons offered a one-word response before getting cut off by a Cowboys employee. “I asked if (Parsons) is disappointed that he doesn’t have a new contract from the Cowboys.<\/p>\n

Despite missing four games, Parsons still managed to rack up 12 sacks last season, in addition to 43 tackles, two fumbles forced, and a pass defended.<\/p>\n
He earned his fourth straight Pro Bowl selection and finished 17th in the Defensive Player of the Year race.<\/p>\n
Parsons is entering the final year of his rookie contract with Dallas, which will pay him $24 million.<\/p>\n
