The Dallas Cowboys\u2019 offense struggled in 2024, ranking 21st in points per game (20.6) and 17th in total yards per game (328.4), meaning they enter the offseason with a chance for serious improvement.One name they could target is wide receiver\u00a0Cooper Kupp, who was released by the\u00a0Los Angeles Rams, with Benjamin Allbright of KOA Colorado\u00a0revealing that the Cowboys\u00a0are \u201cin the mix\u201d for the 31-year-old veteran.<\/p>\n

However, that was directly contradicted on Wednesday after reporter Jane Slater of NFL Network said that, per her source, Dallas is, in fact, \u201cnot in the mix right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Cowboys, though, could certainly use someone like Cupp, who, in 12 games for the Rams in 2024, accumulated 67 receptions, 710 yards and six touchdowns on 100 targets.<\/p>\n

Those numbers are already better than the Cowboys\u2019 second-most efficient wide receiver from last season, Jalen Tolbert, who in 17 games was targeted 79 times, reeling in 49 receptions for 610 yards and seven touchdowns.<\/p>\n

With Kupp now hitting the open market, the Cowboys wouldn\u2019t have to take too much of a risk to land him, as Spotrac predicts he will sign just a two-year contract worth $21.9 million.<\/p>\n
