Boston\u2019s manager didn\u2019t seem as worried about Bello\u2019s stoppage, but regardless the Red Sox have arms to monitor in the early days of Grapefruit League play.<\/p>\n<p>Bullpen candidate Zack Penrod could also miss significant time, adding more decisions for Cora, pitching coach Andrew Bailey and the Red Sox front office to make.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Sox have proper, talented depth to fill in the spots on the staff, which could look like this if the previously mentioned pitchers need more time beyond Opening Day.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Story continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Rotation: <\/strong><br \/>\n<em>SP Garrett Crochet<br \/>\nSP Tanner Houck<br \/>\nSP Lucas Giolito<br \/>\nSP Walker Buehler<br \/>\nSP Brayan Bello <\/em><\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>If Bello\u2019s shoulder soreness keeps his program behind past Opening Day, the Red Sox have three capable spot-starters in Triple-A Worcester with Richard Fitts, Quinn Priester and Hunter Dobbins ready to roll when needed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bullpen:<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>RHP Garrett Whitlock<br \/>\nRHP Luis Guerrero<br \/>\nLHP Justin Wilson<br \/>\nRHP Adam Ottavino<br \/>\nLHP Brennan Bernardino<br \/>\nLHP Aroldis Chapman<br \/>\nRHP Justin Slaten<br \/>\nRHP Liam Hendriks (Closer)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Alex Cora hinted at still wanting some more left-handed relief help even after the additions of Aroldis Chapman and Justin Wilson this winter. For now, we\u2019ll leave that spot to Brennan Bernardino. All three injuries could be resolved when the Red Sox kick off the season in Texas against the Rangers on March 27.
