Travis Kelce has less than a\u00a0month<\/em>\u00a0to figure out if he wants to retire from the Chiefs, and looks like he’s considering staying another season.<\/p>\n

According to an\u00a0Us Weekly<\/em>\u00a0source, Travis \u201cwas hoping he\u2019d end his career on a high,\u201d but then the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl to the Eagles, and now \u201che\u2019s reconsidering what he wants moving forward. He may come back next season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor’s thoughts on the matter? She’ll \u201csupport him either way.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0The Athletic<\/em>\u00a0(via\u00a0People<\/em>) the Chiefs gave Travis a deadline of March 14 to decide if he’s going to retire, which is just one day before his $11.5 million “roster bonus” would be paid out on March 15.<\/p>\n

Travis addressed retirement rumors on his podcast\u00a0New Heights<\/em>, saying \u201cI know everybody wants to know whether or not I’m playing next year, and right now, I’m just kicking everything down the road. I’m not making any crazy decisions. I’m gonna take some time to figure it out. And, I think I owe it to my teammates that if I do come back, it’s a wholehearted decision. I’m not half-assing it, and I’m fully here for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes was asked about Trav’s retirement plans directly after the Super Bowl, and said \u201cI\u2019ll let Travis make that decision on his own, man. He\u2019s given so much to this team and to the NFL, and been such a joy not only for me to work with, but for people to watch. And so, he knows he still has a lot of football left in him. You can see it, he always makes plays in the biggest moments. But it’s if he wants to put in that grind.
