For the first time since 2000 the MLB All-Star game will take place in Atlanta. It was announced the Braves were rewarded with the Midsummer Classic back in late 2023. Fans are hopeful many Braves players can stay in Atlanta All-Star week and represent the team proudly. The Braves set a franchise record by sending eight All-Stars to the midsummer classic back in 2023.<\/p>\n
Last season the list was much shorter as Marcell Ozuna was the only hitter to earn his spot, along with pitchers Chris Sale and Reynaldo Lopez. It’s a reflection on how different the last two seasons have been for Atlanta. Hopefully, 2025 features less injuries and more performances like we saw a couple years ago. The Braves lineup is filled with powerful bats that would put on a show at the Home Run Derby, where perhaps the Braves can finally field a winner.<\/p>\n
Regardless, there are a plethora of stars to choose from when predicting which Braves will make it past the other National League stars to play in Atlanta during July. Below you can find our predictions on which Braves players we think will be selected to the 2025 National League All-Star team.<\/p>\n
Nick: Chris Sale, Spencer Strider, Matt Olson<\/strong>, and Ronald Acuna Jr<\/strong>. Despite injuries to Strider and Acuna both are far too dominating and popular and impactful not to garner the needed votes. Olson will have the power numbers with Chris Sale benefitting from last season\u2019s dominance and name recognition on a great team.<\/p>\n Fred: Austin Riley, Michael Harris II<\/strong>, and maybe Spencer Schwellenbach<\/strong><\/p>\n Mitchell: Michael Harris II, Austin Riley, Matt Olson, Spencer Strider, Spencer Schwellenbach, <\/strong>and Chris Sale<\/strong> (I really like the front half of the rotation, if it wasn\u2019t obvious).<\/p>\n Chase: Michael Harris II, Austin Riley, Marcell Ozuna, Spencer Strider, <\/strong>and Chris Sale<\/strong>. I think Olson and Acu\u00f1a Jr. both have a shot, but RAJ missing the first month and Olson battling Freeman and Harper could keep them on the outside<\/p>\n Eric: Acuna Jr., Riley, Harris II, Strider, Ozuna, Schwellenbach, <\/strong>and Sale<\/strong>. I think Ronald will get the votes to get in despite missing the start of the season, but I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if Strider gets left out because of his missed time and the number of other representatives the Braves could have.<\/p>\n Steven: Ronald Acuna Jr, Michael Harris II, Chris Sale, Spencer Schwellenbach, Marcell Ozuna, Raisel Iglesias, Ozzie Albies, <\/strong>and Austin Riley<\/strong>. Ronald Acuna Jr. is basically a lock. He has to be voted in to play the ASG on his home turf.
