The New York Mets recently made a one-year offer to infielder Jose Iglesias, as sources told Mets On SI.<\/p>\n

Despite initial rumors that Iglesias, 35, is seeking a multi-year deal, sources say that is not the case as the veteran infielder is looking for a one-year contract.<\/p>\n

That said, nothing appears to be close and it’s still unknown if Iglesias and the Mets will reunite for another season.<\/p>\n
