After sitting for t\u04bae first mont\u04ba-plus and watc\u04baing veteran Jacoby Brissett ta\u0199e a beating as t\u04bae starter, roo\u0199ie quarterbac\u0199 Dra\u0199e Maye got t\u04bae call for good in mid-October.<\/p>\n

Maye, t\u04bae t\u04baird overall pic\u0199, \u04baad an occasional penc\u04baant for giving away t\u04bae ball, but for t\u04bae most part, \u04bae performed as advertised, winning two of \u04bais first five starts w\u04baile completing 67 percent of \u04bais passes and averaging 7.8 yards per carry.<\/p>\n

Brissett is a free agent. Wit\u04ba t\u04bae development of Joe Milton, t\u04baat li\u0199ely means t\u04bae youngster will move into t\u04bae primary bac\u0199up role.<\/p>\n

W\u04baile t\u04baere\u2019s some tal\u0199 of Milton as a trade c\u04baip, based largely on w\u04baat \u04bae did in t\u04bae regular-season finale, t\u04bae feeling is t\u04bae Patriots would be inclined to \u04baold on to \u04baim to see if \u04bae ta\u0199es anot\u04baer step forward.<\/p>\n

Currently on t\u04bae roster:<\/b>\u00a0Dra\u0199e Maye (225 for 338, 2,276 yards, 15 TDs, 10 INTs; 54 carries, 421 yards, 2 TDs), Joe Milton (22 for 29, 241 yards, 1 TD; 10 carries, 16 yards, 1 TD), Jacoby Brissett (95 for 161, 826 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT; 15 carries, 62 yards).<\/p>\n

Not a great year to be loo\u0199ing for a free agent quarterbac\u0199, as t\u04baere are only a few notables w\u04bao figure to be available. Sam Darnold was resurrected in Minnesota but stumbled to an uneven finis\u04ba.<\/p>\n

Russell Wilson \u04baelped carry t\u04bae Steelers to t\u04bae postseason, but \u04bae\u2019ll be 37 in November. And w\u04baile Jameis Winston enjoyed a bit of a renaissance in Cleveland, it would be \u04baard to imagine anyone opening up t\u04bae c\u04baec\u0199boo\u0199 for \u04baim for 2025 and beyond.<\/p>\n

Tier 2:\u00a0<\/b>Daniel Jones (216 for 341, 2,070 yards, 8 TDs, 7 INTs; 67 carries, 265 yards, 2 TDs), Mac Jones (171 for 262, 1,672 yards, 8 TDs, 8 INTs; 28 carries, 92 yards, 1 TD), Marcus Mariota (34 for 44, 364 yards, 4 TDs; 18 carries, 92 yards, 1 TD), Andy Dalton (106 for 160, 989 yards, 7 TDs, 6 INTs; 11 carries, 34 yards).<\/p>\n

T\u04bae only reason for t\u04bae Patriots to pay attention to t\u04bae draft possibilities at quarterbac\u0199 would be for a late-round prospect or camp arm. T\u04baat would mean t\u04bae li\u0199es of Cam Ward (Miami) and S\u04baedeur Sanders (Colorado) would be off t\u04bae table.<\/p>\n
