<\/p>\nThe Los Angeles Dodgers have had an A-plus offseason.<\/p>\n
They\u2019ve added two starting pitchers in Blake Snell and Roki Sasaki, the best reliever on the market in Tanner Scott, and brought back outfielder Teoscar Hern\u00e1ndez and right-handed pitcher Blake Treinen.<\/p>\n
They\u2019ve also added potential breakouts in outfielder Michael Conforto and infielder Hyeseong Kim.<\/p>\n

While it would make sense for their offseason to be over \u2014 as the roster is more than set for the 2025 season \u2014 Teoscar Hern\u00e1ndez wants to see the team make one more move.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m praying to God that we can bring Kik\u00e9 (Hern\u00e1ndez) back,\u201d Teoscar Hern\u00e1ndez said Monday on Dodgers Territory. \u201cI miss Kik\u00e9 and I want him to be a Dodger.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Kik\u00e9 Hern\u00e1ndez remains a free agent with less than a month until spring training.<\/p>\n The fan favorite has made his intentions clear about wanting to return to Los Angeles this offseason, but at this point, it\u2019s unclear if the team has a spot for him.<\/p>\n \u201cMain priority for me would probably be coming back,\u201d Hern\u00e1ndez said on The Shop last month. \u201cI think this team \u2014 the Dodgers are very well positioned to make another run and be the first back to back team since the New York Yankees in \u201999 and 2000.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n He held back even less while at a fan event a few days after the World Series at Raising Canes.<\/p>\n \u201cI would love to be back,\u201d Hern\u00e1ndez said. \u201cI truly believe that \u2014 we won the World Series a couple days ago \u2014 but I truly believe that this team is gonna be even better next year with all the pitching reinforcements.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n After the trade of Gavin Lux, it appeared there was room for Hern\u00e1ndez on the 2025 roster. However, it\u2019s no sure thing the Dodgers bring him back as the offseason winds down.<\/p>\n Hern\u00e1ndez struggled in the first half of the 2024 season, hitting .191 with five home runs and an OPS of .557 across 71 games.<\/p>\n Then, he started wearing glasses, and had a massive second half turnaround, hitting .274 with seven home runs and an OPS of .766 across 55 games.<\/p>\n Hern\u00e1ndez, like always, showed up in October, when he hit .294 with two home runs and an OPS of .808.<\/p>\n He is beloved by the Los Angeles fan base and would be a perfect final piece to the 2025 position player roster.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Los Angeles Dodgers have had an A-plus offseason.
