KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Despite the cold temperatures, Kansas City Chiefs fans showed up to Power and Light to cheer loud and proud to stay warm.<\/p>\n

There were several mobile heaters placed around the space that many fans tried to stand by all game long.<\/p>\n

Many decided to watch the game inside the bars and restaurants as well if they could find a space to squeeze in.<\/p>\n

As the final whistle blew, and fans knew their Chiefs were heading back to the AFC Championship game, the trash-talking continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery season, every game, every play. We are the best team in the NFL for a reason,\u201d said Manny Joe. \u201cWe the best team in the NFL. Chiefs, three-peat, we coming for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hundreds of fans braved the cold to cheer for the Kansas City Chiefs at a watch party at the Power & Light District.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just ready to celebrate,\u201d said Cindy Valenzuela. \u201cIt is cold but with a win, it doesn\u2019t matter.\u201d<\/p>\n

A key moment in the game was Travis Kelce\u2019s touchdown catch in the fourth quarter that re-energized the crowd.<\/p>\n

Fans had a strong feeling at that moment that they would host the AFC title game for the sixth time in seven years.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe kept going, and going, and going. The fourth quarter, we had to wrap it up for you guys, for everybody,\u201d said Joe. \u201cWe really are those guys, we them guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some fans experienced Power and Light for the first time, like Aubrey Cottrell\u2019s friend from Nebraska. Cottrell has lived in Kansas City for about eight years and has seen the Chiefs progress on the field leading to a buzz in the city.<\/p>\n

She said after the win on Saturday, they will be back to Power and Light for the AFC Championship game.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an experience to have. As cold as it is, I can\u2019t feel my hands,\u201d she said. \u201cI think that it is such a fun time to be a Chiefs fan. I feel very lucky to be a Chiefs fan in this era.\u201d<\/p>\n

They won\u2019t be the only ones at Power and Light as Saturday showed the Chiefs faithful will show out, bundled up, or not like some very tough fans out there.<\/p>\n

As they all hope another Lombardi is added to the Trophy case to end this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re going to be the only team to do that, I have a feeling,\u201d said Nick Albor about the team trying to three-peat. \u201cI texted Mahomes last night.\u201d<\/p>\n
