The Cowboys offense had four turnovers against the Eagles, with two Cooper Rush interceptions (one for a pick-six) and two fumbles, one from Jake Ferguson and the other from Rico Dowdle (in the red zone), gifted the Eagles four extra possessions.<\/p>\n
In total, 24 points were scored off Dallas turnovers, as Philadelphia got bang for its buck multiple times, leaving Mike McCarthy rather irate. “The giveaways are disheartening, frankly,” McCarthy said, reviewing the brutal numbers. “They were giveaways, they were careless giveaways.<\/p>\n
That’s the hard part for us offensively because we had a game plan, running a football, staying a favorable down of distance, third down was in a 43 percent area so it really came down to taking care of the football.<\/p>\n
