Multiple NFL players previously admitted receiving racist abuse online following interviews, draft selections, missed plays, or major professional career announcements publicly.<\/p>\n

Now another young player is reportedly experiencing that same reality while attempting to quietly begin his professional football career peacefully.<\/p>\n

According to reports, former Kentucky receiver Ja\u2019Mori Maclin reportedly decided social media had become overwhelmingly toxic entering rookie offseason activities recently.<\/p>\n

The undrafted rookie reportedly deleted his X account after racist comments surfaced beneath posts announcing his signing with the Buffalo Bills organization.<\/p>\n

Rather than publicly responding online, Maclin reportedly chose removing distractions completely while focusing entirely on training camp preparation this offseason.<\/p>\n

Maclin spent his collegiate career between Missouri, North Texas, and Kentucky while continuing to chase an eventual opportunity inside professional football.<\/p>\n

The receiver exploded during his second North Texas season, recording 57 receptions, 1,004 receiving yards, and eleven touchdowns during a breakout campaign.<\/p>\n

However, Maclin struggled finding consistent offensive opportunities during his final two seasons competing against SEC competition at Kentucky afterward.<\/p>\n

Several scouts reportedly believed Maclin\u2019s athletic traits and family football background still gave him intriguing long-term developmental potential entering the NFL.<\/p>\n

Maclin is also the cousin of former Eagles and Chiefs star receiver Jeremy Maclin, whose NFL career included multiple dominant offensive seasons.<\/p>\n

Sources close to Maclin reportedly said the rookie became emotionally exhausted repeatedly seeing hateful comments underneath positive posts celebrating his NFL opportunity.<\/p>\n

“I didn\u2019t come this far to argue online. I came here to work, improve every day, and prove I belong with the Bills.”<\/p>\n

Many Bills fans immediately defended the rookie online, praising his maturity and discipline during one of football\u2019s most emotionally difficult situations recently.<\/p>\n

Supporters across Buffalo believe adversity reveals true character, and many fans already respect Maclin\u2019s decision to prioritize football over negativity.<\/p>\n
