RED SOX LEGEND JASON VARITEK HAS ‘OPEN INVITATION’ TO RETURN TO BOSTON<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

BOSTON, MA<\/strong> \u2014 One of the most beloved figures in Boston Red Sox<\/strong> history, Jason Varitek<\/strong>, may have left the team in an unexpected turn of events, but his relationship with the organization seems far from over. The Red Sox<\/strong> have made it clear that Varitek, the franchise\u2019s former captain<\/strong>, has an \u201copen invitation\u201d<\/strong> to return to the team whenever he chooses.<\/p>\n
