Just days into rookie minicamp, however, excitement around the young receiver is already beginning to reach another level entirely inside the organization.<\/p>\n

According to multiple observers around Eagles rookie minicamp, head coach\u00a0Nick Sirianni<\/span>\u00a0has internally compared Lemon to legendary former Eagles wide receiver\u00a0Mike Quick<\/span>\u00a0after watching the rookie immediately command attention throughout drills and meetings.<\/p>\n

For longtime Eagles fans, the comparison carries enormous weight.<\/p>\n

Quick remains one of the greatest wide receivers in franchise history and was one of the defining offensive stars of Philadelphia football during the 1980s.<\/p>\n

The former Eagles receiver earned five consecutive Pro Bowl selections from 1983 through 1987 and was named First-Team All-Pro twice during his dominant career.<\/p>\n
