Francisco Lindor\u00a0knows how to have a good time on a baseball field. But \u201cMr. Smile\u201d took his fun-loving ways up a notch on Saturday night in Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

During a charity home run derby and celebrity softball game\u00a0hosted by fellow Puerto Rican MLB stars Jos\u00e9 Berr\u00edos and Javier B\u00e1ez, Lindor went deep off of veteran utilityman Kik\u00e9 Hern\u00e1ndez. Lindor could have punctuated the moment with a bat flip, but he had something better in mind: A cartwheel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Mets\u2019 superstar shortstop celebrated his dinger by going heels over head as he made his way to first. He showed perfect form, too. But you know what would have made it better? If the home run had actually counted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Yes, you can see in the clip of Lindor\u2019s homer that he didn\u2019t touch third during his trip around the bases. The solo homer was taken off the board, and the call was confirmed by replay review. Because even in a celebrity softball game, you still have to follow the rules.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

All proceeds from the sold-out event benefited Berr\u00edos\u2019\u00a0Fundaci\u00f3n La Makina and B\u00e1ez\u2019s El Mago Foundation, both of which aim to support communities in Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
