The Atlanta Braves made the postseason for the seventh straight season in 2024 after finishing with a record of 89-73.<\/p>\n

Even after battling multiple injuries to key players throughout the season, the Braves still managed to clinch a spot in October.<\/p>\n

Although the season ended with the team being swept in the wild-card round, the Braves could think of the season as a success due to all the key injuries.<\/p>\n

The offseason has seen the Braves part ways with starting pitcher Max Fried, who signed with the New York Yankees, but the Braves added a new player to the roster on Sunday.<\/p>\n

According to Atlanta Braves on \u2018X,\u2019 the Braves signed outfielder Bryan De La Cruz to a one-year non-guaranteed contract for the 2025 season.<\/p>\n

De La Cruz joined the league in 2021 with the Miami Marlins, where he played for more than three seasons before joining the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2024.<\/p>\n

In 2024, De La Cruz played 149 games between the Marlins and the Pirates, batting .233 with 21 home runs, 68 RBIs, and a .654 OPS.<\/p>\n

The Braves broke their streak of six straight National League East titles in 2024 when they finished second behind the Philadelphia Phillies.<\/p>\n

After winning the World Series in 2021, the Braves have failed to make the National League Championship Series in their next three playoff appearances.<\/p>\n

The Braves hope that De La Cruz can impact their outfield next season as he has shown the ability to hit the long ball thus far in his career.<\/p>\n
