Some insiders and analysts across MLB were shocked, and others, not so much, but regardless of how anyone feels, the Red Sox are under some organizational turmoil at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Sox decided to bring in WooSox manager Chad Tracy to be the interim. Along with Alex Cora being fired, Craig Breslow also decided to get rid of the hitting coach, the team\u2019s bench coach, and the game-planning coach. Jos\u00e9 David Flores is now the interim bench coach. Pablo Cabrera is the interim first base coach\/outfield instructor. Jack Simonetty has been hired as an interim hitting assistant. Chris Cotillo of MassLive first reported the news on Flores and Simonetty while Alex Speier of The Boston Globe was first on Cabrera.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In what sent shockwaves across MLB, Boston leg go of several coaches on Saturday afternoon after a 17-1 victory. (Photo by Mark Taylor\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>With so many games left to be played on the schedule, it\u2019s hard to rule any team fully out, especially given the fact that the summer months tend to bring a lot more parity in the sport.<\/p>\n<p>However, there\u2019s no denying that wholesale changes needed to be made in Boston.<\/p>\n<p>After such an active offseason, making several player additions and spending some big-time cash on MLB free agents, the Red Sox carried a lot of postseason aspirations into this season.<\/p>\n<p>So, what\u2019s next for Boston?
