The\u00a0San Francisco 49ers\u00a0finally got back to their winning ways on Sunday afternoon with a 38-13 rout of the hapless\u00a0Chicago Bears.<\/p>\n

Despite not having running back\u00a0Christian McCaffrey, backup running back Jordan Mason or star wide receiver\u00a0Brandon Aiyuk\u00a0in the lineup, the 49ers compiled 452 yards of offense as the team finally ended its three-game losing streak. Third-string running back Isaac Guerendo ran for 78 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries and added another 50 yards through the air on just two receptions.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the game he received some solid advice from tight end\u00a0George Kittle.<\/p>\n

“All I’ve been preaching to Isaac is, ‘Hey man, just run really, really fast and hold on the football and you’re going to get a lot of yards,'” Kittle said after the game,\u00a0via ESPN. “And I thought he did a really good job of that today.”<\/p>\n

The star tight end had himself a pretty good day too. He racked up six receptions for 161 yards while becoming just the third tight end in\u00a0NFL\u00a0history to have at least 500 receptions and 7,000 yards in their first eight seasons.<\/p>\n

His wife, Claire, was on hand to witness the historic performance.<\/p>\n

“SOS all my camera photos are grainy now \ud83d\ude29Nonetheless we prevailed,” she said while showing off her outfit from the game.<\/p>\n
