The Houston Astros find themselves in a bittersweet situation with Josh Hader sidelined due to ongoing injury issues. But there’s a silver lining: Bryan Abreu, one of the game’s top setup men, is stepping up to fill the closer role.<\/p>\n

It’s a chance Abreu is eager to seize, as he expressed, “The opportunity is always out there. That\u2019s a huge step for any reliever.”<\/p>\n

Abreu’s mindset isn’t just about personal gain. Known as a team player, he’s focused on helping his teammates succeed. Yet, there’s no denying the potential financial boost this opportunity offers him, especially with free agency looming this winter.<\/p>\n
