Teoscar Hern\u00e1ndez has made plenty of headlines since the conclusion of the Juan Soto sweepstakes.<\/p>\n

Hern\u00e1ndez reportedly has gained interest from the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox \u2014 all three who came up short in the competition for Soto, who reportedly agreed to a 15-year deal with the New York Mets.<\/p>\n

The Dodgers have been viewed as the favorite for Hern\u00e1ndez after he won a World Series in LA this season. But a report from ESPN\u2019s Alden Gonzalez on Sunday night indicates the Dodgers might not be able to come to terms with the two-time MLB All-Star.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Dodgers and Hern\u00e1ndez have been in negotiations for the past few weeks but have been unable to bridge the gap, sources familiar with the process have said,\u201d Gonzalez reported Sunday night.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s good news for other teams vying for Hern\u00e1ndez, specifically the Red Sox.<\/p>\n

Boston remains very much in the mix, according to multiple reports. MLB Network\u2019s Jon Morosi believes the\u00a0Red Sox have a legitimate shot\u00a0of signing Hern\u00e1ndez while MassLive\u2019s Chris Cotillo and Sean McAdam referred to the slugger as an expected \u201cfallback option.\u201d<\/p>\n
