Most notably, the Bills pulled off a trade with the Chicago Bears to acquire wide receiver DJ Moore. He will give star quarterback Josh Allen the No. 1 target that he has badly needed over the last couple of years.<\/p>\n
Following that move, Buffalo went out into the free agency market and signed pass rusher Bradley Chubb. Brandon Beane and company have also added safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, backup quarterback Kyle Allen, and cornerback Dee Alford.<\/p>\n
All of those moves improve the roster for the Bills. However, there are still avenues that the front office should explore for further improvement.<\/p>\n
One potential position of need could be the cornerback room.<\/p>\n
Buffalo Bills Urged by Cole Beasley to Sign 2-Time Super Bowl Champion<\/strong><\/p>\n On Friday, the Tennessee Titans made the surprising decision to release cornerback L\u2019Jarius Sneed. It didn\u2019t take long for Buffalo to be linked as a potential suitor.<\/p>\n Cole Beasley, a former wide receiver for the Bills, made a short and simple plea for the team to bring Sneed onboard.<\/p>\n \u201cBills. Sign him,\u201d Beasley posted on X.<\/p>\n Sneed won two Super Bowls during his time with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a big part of those championship runs as well. His success to the Chiefs led to him wanting a lucrative deal and being traded to the Titans and rewarded with a four-year, $76 million contract.<\/p>\n Whether or not Buffalo will have interest in pursuing Sneed remains to be seen. If he can get back to playing the way he did in Kansas City, signing him would be a massive step towards Super Bowl contention for the Bills.<\/p>\n What Would L\u2019Jarius Sneed Bring to the Bills\u2019 Defense?<\/strong><\/p>\n Over the last two years in Tennessee, Sneed has dealt with multiple injury issues. He has played in just 12 games, racking up 49 total tackles to go along with three defended passes.<\/p>\n Back in 2023 with the Chiefs, Sneed totaled 78 tackles, a fumble recovery, two interceptions, and 14 defended passes in 16 games played. He played in 17 back in 2022, recording 108 tackles, 3.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, three interceptions, and 11 defended passes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n At 29 years old, the big question has to do with just how much Sneed has left in the tank.<\/p>\n Depending on the price tag, Buffalo would be wise to take a gamble on him. A one-year deal would be no harm at all for the Bills. He could be the missing piece the defense needs to become an elite unit.<\/p>\n Only time will tell whether or not Buffalo will get involved in pursuing Sneed.
