Entering the 2026 NFL offseason, the Buffalo Bills needed to be aggressive in their pursuit of a Super Bowl run next season.<\/p>\n
Once again in 2025, the Bills came up short of their one and only goal. Josh Allen and company gave it a good run, but came up short against the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round of the AFC playoffs.<\/p>\n
So far this offseason, Buffalo has been very aggressive.<\/p>\n
Perhaps the biggest move of the offseason for the Bills thus far has been the trade the acquire wide receiver DJ Moore from the Chicago Bears. They have also signed pass rusher Bradley Chubb, cornerback Dee Alford, backup quarterback Kyle Allen, and safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, while also working out new deals with center Connor McGovern and tight end Dawon Knox.<\/p>\n
With that being said, Buffalo has now been connected to making another potential move to improve the defense. This time, the focus for the Bills would be adding pass rushing talent.<\/p>\n
Buffalo Bills Connected to Potential Move for 21.5-Sack Pass Rusher<\/strong><\/p>\n CBS Sports analyst Josh Edwards has come up with an intriguing option for Buffalo to consider in the first round of the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft. He thinks Clemson pass rusher T.J. Parker could make sense.<\/p>\n \u201cA.J. Epenesa is a free agent as of this writing, so the only edge rushers on the roster probably exempt from major roster decisions are Gregory Rousseau, newly signed Bradley Chubb and last year\u2019s third-round pick, Landon Jackson,\u201d Edwards wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cT.J. Parker has the profile they\u2019ve been drawn to in the past. Perhaps he\u2019ll allow them to get off the carousel of acquiring a new 30-year-old every offseason.\u201d<\/p>\n Parker is coming off of a three-year career in college with the Tigers. He racked up 127 total tackles to go along with 21.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, and three defended passes.<\/p>\n Standing in at 6-foot-3 and 265 pounds, Parker is known for being a power rusher. He won\u2019t blow away teams with his pursuit speed, but his strength can cause issues for opposing offensive linemen.<\/p>\n What Kind of NFL Player Can T.J. Parker Become?<\/strong><\/p>\n Parker has been compared to a very familiar player to Buffalo. The newly-signed Bradley Chubb has been one comparison made for him.<\/p>\n As Buffalo continues looking to improve the defense, beefing up the pass rush is a clear priority. \nThe overwhelming feeling about Parker is that he has the potential to become a star pass rusher at the NFL level. He will need to make some improvements in different areas, but would be well worth the Bills taking a gamble on in the first round of the 2026 draft.<\/p>\n
