The\u00a0Baltimore Ravens\u00a0dropped a bombshell on Tuesday, March 10, when the news surfaced that they pulled out of their deal with the\u00a0Las Vegas Raiders\u00a0to get edge\u00a0Maxx Crosby\u00a0on the team. The\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0have been heavily in the mix for Crosby during the offseason, but will they bite now?<\/p>\n

As soon as the new broke about Crosby, the question that came up was whether Dallas would still go after the edge. At first, the\u00a0NFL Network\u2019s Tom Pelissero\u00a0made it sound like a go.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would specifically say the other team that was in it at the end, as we\u2019ve reported, is the Dallas Cowboys,\u201d\u00a0Pelissero said, talking about the breaking news. \u201cI am told the Dallas Cowboys would still be interested in a Maxx Crosby trade.\u201d<\/p>\n

But, not so fast. There\u2019s a conflicting report that has emerged since Pelissero\u2019s comments, and it\u2019s very different.<\/p>\n

According to Dianna Russini of the Athletic, the Cowboys are out. They won\u2019t go after Crosby for a trade a second time around.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Dallas Cowboys are not expected to re-engage in Maxx Crosby trade discussions at this time, a high-ranking source tells The Athletic,\u201d\u00a0she said on a post on X.<\/p>\n

So, it appears the Cowboys are done with this deal, although Pelissero did imply that the team would be interested.<\/p>\n

The Ravens, according to a report from Ryan McFadden of ESPN, back out of the deal due to medical concerns.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo further details were provided in the Raiders\u2019 announcement, but league sources told ESPN the Ravens backed out because of medical concerns that arose during a physical,\u201d\u00a0McFadden stated in a story. \u201cTrades are contingent on players passing the physical and aren\u2019t official until the start of the new league year Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that the Ravens didn\u2019t respond to ESPN\u2019s request for comment. The original\u00a0the deal was to\u00a0trade the five-time Pro-Bowl defensive end\u00a0to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round picks.<\/p>\n

Maxx Crosby\u2019s Goodbye Message<\/h2>\n

On Saturday, March 7, Crosby took to social media to talk about the trade.\u00a0\u201cRaider Nation has given me everything,\u201d\u00a0Crosby said. \u201cMy family, had the chance to get married, have the most beautiful daughter in the world, grow as a man, as a player, as a leader, a human being.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cOne thing I could say is above all else is that I gave you everything I got and I have no regrets about that. I put everything into trying to win as a Raider.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crosby also said that he understood why the Raiders traded him. \u201cI have zero ill will towards that organization in any way,\u201d Crosby said. \u201cI want them to have all the success in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the 2025\u00a0NFL\u00a0regular season,\u00a0according to NFL research, Crosby recorded 73 total tackles, 10 sacks, 28 tackles for loss and one interception.<\/p>\n
