Buffalo, NY. One of the Buffalo Bills\u2019 most respected offensive veterans has reportedly accepted that his time with the franchise is nearing its end, despite making it clear he was willing to reduce his salary in order to remain with the team.<\/p>\n
The veteran tight end is entering the final stage of the four-year, $52 million contract extension he signed with Buffalo, a deal that once reflected his importance as a core piece of the offense.<\/p>\n
But with the Bills continuing to reshape the roster around Josh Allen and a younger offensive nucleus, internal belief is growing that the organization is preparing to move in a different direction.<\/p>\n
