Max Scherzer, the veteran right-hander, is back with the Toronto Blue Jays on a one-year deal worth $3 million, potentially reaching $10 million with incentives. This move likely means the Blue Jays will place outfielder Anthony Santander on the 60-day injured list to make room on the roster for the future Hall of Famer.<\/p>\n

Given their budget constraints, re-signing Scherzer wasn’t a priority.<\/p>\n
