That Giants contract included an opt-out after 2024 and a signing bonus paid out this year. Setbacks stalled his rehab twice as discomfort lingered in his throwing program. At DodgerFest, he peeled back the layers: \u201cThe same thing. Just never felt great, never the normal that I\u2019ve felt my whole career.\u201d<\/p>\n

Therapy has been his offseason lifeline. No knife needed\u2014PT\u2019s built strength. \u201cI mean, it\u2019s stronger,\u201d Snell said. \u201cI know the day I went into PT to the day I left, it\u2019s night and day in strength and how it feels.\u201d<\/p>\n

The real shift? A smarter ramp-up. Snell\u2019s ditching last year\u2019s rush. \u201cI\u2019m just going to take my time. Last year, I was rushing. I wanted to pitch so bad,\u201d he recalled.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel good. I\u2019m just going to go slower. Last year, I had so much to prove, I got way too excited and I was really pushing to get to spring, get through spring. This year, I\u2019m going to be a little slower in how I ramp up. Be a little more smarter on that, but I feel good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the hurdles, Snell\u2019s all smiles about 2025. Ups and downs forged bonds.
\n\u201cIt was perfect. We won the World Series. Me personally, I went through a bunch of ups and downs, but I wouldn\u2019t change it,\u201d he said. \u201cFor us to win, come together, find a way to win, it only made us a stronger team, a more connected team. It just gets me more excited for what we have to do this year.\u201d<\/p>\n
