Thanksgiving is a holiday during which people spend quality time with their loved ones and give thanks and gratitude for the good things they have going for them in their lives. It is also a holiday that calls for giving back to underprivileged people and helping them to help themselves.<\/p>\n

Players across the NFL have historically done a very good job of volunteering in their communities to help children and low-income families and individuals. On Wednesday, San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Maliek Collins went the extra mile to surprise people in the community with money to help them afford to buy groceries.<\/p>\n
