Dodgers\u2019 Tyler Glasnow Sends Message After Trade Report<\/h1>\n

The\u00a0Los Angeles Dodgers\u00a0are heading into 2026 with momentum toward building a dynasty after winning a second straight World Series title. Earlier this week, they signed closing pitcher Edwin Diaz to a three-year, $69 million contract to solidify what was arguably their only weakness, the bullpen.<\/p>\n

Now reports have surfaced that the Dodgers are interested in trading for left-handed starter Tarik Skubal, widely regarded as the best pitcher in baseball and currently with the\u00a0Detroit Tigers.<\/p>\n

According to Alden Gonzalez of ESPN, the Dodgers were willing to consider moving right-handed starter Tyler Glasnow as a potential headliner in a deal for Skubal.<\/p>\n

\u201cTyler Glasnow\u2019s name has come up in conversations, and the Dodgers would not be opposed to moving him,\u201d Gonzalez reported Thursday. \u201cMaybe he\u2019s part of the package that brings Tarik Skubal to L.A.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Sunday, however, Glasnow shut those rumors down. According to Dani Wexelman of ESPN, Glasnow said Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman informed him he would not be traded.<\/p>\n
